Switzerland Faces Off Against Footballing Giants in Group A
Switzerland will lock horns with Hungary, Scotland, and Germany in Group A of the upcoming UEFA Euro 2024 tournament.
The much-anticipated competition, hosted by Germany, kicks off on June 14, 2024. Swiss broadcaster SRF will showcase all 51 matches live on TV, on its dedicated sports platform srfchsport, and via the SRF Sport app. Switzerland's fate in the tournament will be determined by their performances against three formidable opponents.
Switzerland's first challenge comes on June 15, 2024, when they face Hungary in Budapest. Their second match is set for June 20, 2024, against Scotland in Glasgow. The Swiss will conclude their group stage campaign against footballing powerhouse Germany on June 26, 2024, in Dortmund.
The top two teams from each group will advance to the knockout stage. The quarter-finals will commence on June 29, 2024, followed by the semi-finals on July 3-4, 2024. The tournament will culminate in the grand finale at the Olympiastadion in Berlin on July 7, 2024.
